With Frank Miller's 300 coming out this weekend, it's nice to see that more studios are willing to address ancient Greece as a fascinating and complex country while at the same time using the lastest technology to create incredible visuals. Worst Class Films feels pride to have done our part in that movement and really appreciated the nod in one of the 300's movie posters.

Dang. I didn't think this web log craze would hold on this long. Guess it's time for an update. First of all, there's this tight movie playing right now. I haven't heard anybody talking about it on the "net", so I thought I'd give everyone the heads up. It's call Snake onboard an Airplane. The title pretty much describes the movie, and let's just say it was pretty ssssssssssssweet. (That's how the snakes would describe it LOLOL).
Second, I think it's time to stop this trend of updating the look of the website each time a new iTunes is released. Seriously, what the crap. From now on Worst Class Films is all about pure user generated content.
Finally, I don't know if it's worth continuing this blog, since no one comments here anymore...

Well, Sundance has come and gone. The parties were CRAZY. Ol' Worst Class Films may not have had a film in competition this year, but it was obvious that our influence was still felt, especially on the dance floors. And no other dance was more successful than "Reach for the Stars." If you want to use this for all your online avatars, I'm sure Julie and Paris would be very proud.

Speaking of brilliant inventions by Julie Henry, the excitement surrounding Brittany And Erin Spend the Night has been overwhelming. Many of you have been clamoring for more information about the story and it's characters. Well, it just so happens that you can actually meet one of the titular (as in, in the title) characters of B&EStN@mH here. Congratulate her on her upcoming success.

Well, I know its been a while since the last update. There have been quite a few changes around Worst Class Films. There are quite a few new faces in the studio. Since alot of you are looking forward to new installments to some beloved WCF franchises, our casting department has been carefully choosing Anderson-area singles for their likeness to former members. If you want to get to know these people, they're all on hotornot.com or match.com.

Meet the new Dan Mistak.
Meet the new Daniel Henry.
Meet the new Toni Henry.
Meet the new Josh Shope.
Meet the new Jeff Whiting.

Also, we've been working on a teaser poster for our next feature. We really tried to capture the bukkake vibe in the film.

Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming support of our latest release, City 12. It was a big honor to work with Merle Dandridge on this project. She was one class act. Both Daniel and I were a little nervous about adding a love interest into the Half-Life universe, particularly since many people had speculated that Gordon and Alyx would eventually end up together. The praise City 12 has received recently has put our fears to rest.

Put some new propaganda up today. It's no Truth commercial, but you might like it if you hate the Dutch, America, Lars Von Trier, video games, digital cable or satallite, and of course the government. There are some clues you should ask yourself as you watch:
Why are tree frogs heard during the opening credits?
Why is there no actual hamburger patty?
    What do the gooseberries represent?
What choice is given at the end?

Also, be sure to check back soon. A Worst Class Film classic, Nashville Extreme will be posted.

Well, spring break has come and gone. It was a very productive week. We began filming a sexy new beach mystery/drama. We'll be using footage of actual spring breakers. Here we are in action...

I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to Green Hills and saw our special screening of Hide and (S)eek Director's Cut. It was great to see the remastered version on the big screen. The sparks coming out of Helen Fry's hands at the end never looked so good!

Man, I haven't updated in a while. I guess it's because my friends are all possessed by demons. I can only be a super-Christian for so long. After a while, people just start to drag me down. Satan is in his final death struggle and he is pulling out all the stops (the internet, secular music, secular TV stations, making oaths, abortions, licentiousness). It just makes me want to cry that some of my friends are into these things. Sometimes, when I turn the TV on, I see a demonic face right before the picture comes in.

Just got back in from the movie convention in Las Vagas. Got to talk to the Anderson brothers (Wes and P.T.) and we might collaborate on this nature conservation docu-drama. Hopefully it will have alot of stedi-cam shots and Beatles music. Anyway, I hope you guys are doing awesome with school starting up in a little bit. It's just so bitter-sweet to be leaving the 'ol house again. Just so bitter-sweet. Here's the next section of the meta-poem I've been working on. It ties into Citizen Erased and Johny Get Your gun. I think you'll see the connection:

Season's shards and separations:
(Rest by blood and by fire)

The Decemberist plots,
"while the grand plans fall away!"

No: No: No: No: No;
You're doing it all wrong--

To think of you is to treasure an absent memory.

With all the talk going on about the Tsunami in southern Asia, I think it's important not to forget the celebrities who were affected by the disaster. Supermodel Petra Nemcova was vacationing in Thailand when the wave hit. While I think this is the beginning of God's judgement on that pagan part of the world, it is important to remember that there were also good people affected by this awful disaster. This whole situataion has pretty much inspired me to start making a disaster movie ...one where a lot of famous landmarks get destroyed.

You Are the Bastard
b

You're obnxious and rude - with a lot of energy.

Eager to reach your goals, you tear down the dreams of those around you.

You are good at cheating on yourself and others.

You're also a looker, with a great head of curly locks.
This is really funny. I like to see stuff like this to know truly what kind of person I am. I would say that it's pretty on target. What do you think?

I've been struggling lately. Last week I thought things were getting better, but this week things just seem worse. I don't know if I'm cut out for this movie stuff. Like today I didn't even feel like story-boarding. I can only pray that Satan will quit making me depressed. Sometimes people let me down, too. We were going to film a sensitive love scene for our new movie, but somebody got all self-righteous and wouldn't even shoot the scene. It's not like you had anything worth showing, ya whore.

Some annoyances today... Still trying to get the Dogme95 board to accept The Coming as an official member. The board, though, has been making the absurd claim that since there was a boombox located within 20 feet of the camera for the purpose of adding music not naturally in the scene, the movie will not be accepted as Dogme95. They also seemed to have problems with the 1st-person shots where the killer sees in "negative." That's freakin how the killer sees the world, reversed from how we see it. Instead of recognizing the symbolism behind it, they simply nag about the fact that you can't use any "filters." I got alot of people down at the Belcourt to sign a petition over the past few days, so we'll see how that goes. Anyway, I'm really looking fowrard to Christmas. I heard rumors that I might be getting a new light meter...

It is inevitable, it seems, that during the course of filming and producing a movie some of the cast and/or crew will eventually do something so utterly obnoxious that it pretty much ruins the day. As a professional, it is up to me to maintain my composure on the set. Perhaps that is the impetus for creating my Zingya account. So in advanced, I apologize if I accidently say things that are clearly aimed towards you. I will do my best to make my rants just obscure enough to mask the true target behind them. Here's to hopefully many more Zings to come!
